The ecoMetals Award

The goal of reaching carbon neutrality by 2050 sees the metal industries begin their greatest transformation in history. The ecoMetals Award honours exemplary companies in three categories:

ecoEnergy
ecoTechnology

All companies participating in the ecoMetals Trails at Bright World of Metals 2023 in Düsseldorf are eligible to enter. Each company can apply for a maximum of one category, which will then be voted on by public vote. The election will run until May 31, 2023.

How can artificial intelligence and other digital Industry 4.0 technologies help optimise the production process? Which new manufacturing processes complement the traditional production technologies of foundries, non-ferrous metal and steel companies? The use of innovative technologies in the metallurgy and foundry industry is the focus of the ecoTechnology Award.
