With the newly developed ROBOCAST V vacuum metering system, Fill offers an innovative casting process for new types of drive components as well as complex castings and guarantees maximum casting quality with simultaneous savings in cycle and production material, as well as energy.
The molten aluminum is taken up by the filling tube under bath conditions, and in combination with permanent nitrogen impingement, contamination of the melt is prevented. Optimized materials for the filling tube and the vessel allow the melting temperature to be reduced by 15°C to 20°c compared with other processes. The opening of the holding furnace is reduced to a minimum. This guarantees significant energy savings for the producers.
In the new AOBOCAST V, the dosing of the melt is dynamic. This enables a delivery volume of 0.5 to 2.7 kg per second. The delivery quantity is automatically adjusted to changes in cross-section during the metering process in accordance with the requirements of the mold.
AOBOCAST V combines the advantages of gravity die casting with those of low-pressure die casting and offers customers the opportunity to reproduce or optimize their processes in a reproducible manner, thus significantly reducing material, energy and maintenance costs.
