With a maximum speed of up to 210 m/min, the line will be the world's fastest coating line for steel coils.
Tosyali Iron and Steel Industry Algerie SPA has commissioned the Italian plant manufacturer Globus SRL to supply a coil coating line to be installed in the new production plant for flat steel products currently under construction in Oran, Algeria. The line, which is designed for a maximum speed of 210 m/min, will be the fastest coating line for steel coils in the world. The line will have a tension leveling line and will be equipped with state-of-the-art process control features, including closed-loop coating thickness control. This is the third order Tosyalı has placed with Globus in the last ten years, following the successful installation of the Coil Coating Line and the Tension Leveler at the Osmaniye plant.
