On July 1, 2023, Steelwind Nordenham GmbH expanded its management. Jost Backhaus is next to Dr. Andreas Liessem another managing director. He is responsible for the commercial area of the company and mainly takes over the sales and project management department. Jost Backhaus has many years of professional experience in the field of renewable energies. The industrial engineer previously worked, among other things, as COO at Enercon.

Steelwind Nordenham GmbH, a company of the Dillinger Group, has been manufacturing monopiles, transition pieces and "single-piece" monopile foundations with unit weights of up to 2,400 tons in Nordenham since 2014. The single-piece monopile replaces the previous design with a separate monopile and transition piece with one Integration of certain parts of the transition pieces in the monopile.
