The first BRAZIL WELDING SHOW which took place in the Expocenter Norte in the Brazilian metropolis of Sao Paulo on October 18-21, 2011 is making a positive assessment. 144 international exhibitors from 16 countries (including 42 participants from Brasil) showed the newest welding and joining technologies. Around 13,000 visitors obtained information at the BRAZIL WELDING SHOW and at Corte & Conformacao de Metais, South America´s largest trade fair for metal fabrication and forming. Both events took place in parallel on a total area of 34,000 m² and complemented each other in an outstanding manner. Visitors as well as exhibitors were able to profit from newly created synergetic effects.
Messe Essen organised the BRAZIL WELDING SHOW together with its Brasilian partner Arando Eventos e Congressos. The trade fair was supported by DVS - Deutscher Verband für Schweißen und verwandte Verfahren ("German Welding Society") which agreed to be the ideal sponsor and thus reaffirmed its many years of cooperation with Messe Essen. 25 German companys presented their services and products at the BRAZIL WELDING SHOW. On the initiative of DVS, there was a cooperative booth which was promoted by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs.
